Barcelona Exposition
Connecting Two Cultures
The Barcelona Exposition is a temporary installation linking Pittsburgh and Barcelona. After the summer is over, the exposition can be dismantled and the pieces can be reused.
The project is focused on pedestrian movement as embodied in Las Ramblas in Barcelona. Pedestrians passing by will be drawn into the action of the street-side café and then traverse the ramp which weaves throughout the space to offer varying views of the local area.
